Jane and Norbert Radny of West Coast Arabians stud in Serpentine were very proud to be told that their homebred stallion, West Coast Acharon + S
(Aquanitor x Noran Parmelia) and his rider, Norbert, have made the Long List to represent Australia in Endurance at the WEG in Kentucky this year.
Seven riders in total were selected for the long list in which Norbert and Acharon are the only WA representatives.
All long listed competitors are required to participate in a 120km ** or 160km*** event in Kalbar, QLD on 1 May.

Acharon will fly to Queensland in April in order to be present at this event and meet the rest of the long listed team. A few days after hearing this news, the WAAHA presented Acharon with a beautiful perpetual trophy for being the 2009 Purebred Ridden show Stallion of the Year. A truly versatile horse who can make the transition from elite endurance performance where he  travels 'long, low and flat out' with Norbert to the show ring where he travels 'short, round and slow' with Jane!

Good Luck in your quest Acky and Norbert!
